Skull Cake via Geekologie

Skull Cake via Geekologie

Cake Wrecks takes a break from the wrecks and shows us some awesome steampunk cakes.

Destructoid is all about art with Three Games in Fifteen Pixels and Seven of the Net’s Best Custom Munny’s.

At Geekologie, cakes once again take center stage in the form of delicious skulls sans brains.

PSFK brightens our world with a kitchen island made of 20,000 Lego Bricks.

SpriteStitch shows us that pixels are our pals with a Yoshi and Mario Sticker Wall Hanging and a Bubble Bobble Cross Stitch Clock.

We Love You So awarded the Grand Prize for the Wild Things Forts Contest to Eric Rice, with second place going to Dianne Que and an Honorable Mention to Ausia Lauts.  Congrats you guys!

Zero Punctuation: The Imp Arrives

Zero Punctuation by Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw on The Escapist

Zero Punctuation by Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw on The Escapist

Oh Yahtzee, you smarmy herculean mongoose…I love to watch Zero Punctuation, the series of animated video game reviews by Ben “Yahtzee” Croshaw, the gamer who keeps it as real as a Trilby hat.  They’re funny and brutally cynical, but shed honest insight into the pros and cons of current console games.  Be sure to catch it every Wednesday on The Escapist.

A couple of weeks ago, I ordered my own personal imp, the characters on Zero Punctuation that serve as stand-ins for everything from game villains and minions to fanfiction writing fangirls.  It arrived quicker than I expected, since it was shipped by Canada PostGround to the US.  I added a red bow and made it a girl imp!

Get the imp from SplitReason.com for $9.95, though shipping to the United States is pricey.
