A Little Bit Zelda
I can’t help but see a bit of Zelda’s influence in these two pieces:
The Triangle T-shirt by Circle T has a repeating Triforce pattern, with a few extra triangles, and the Wall Pocket by Scout Regalia reminds me of a combination of a Zelda rupee and a Bejeweled jewel. It was inspired by geode mineral formations, so the comparison is definitely fitting. Still, I play too many video games, don’t I?
Adamantium Turkey Carver
Today is Thanksgiving in Canada, so I thought I’d do a tribute to the most beloved and badass Canadian superhero, Wolverine:
The Wolverine Hockey Tee from Urban Outfitters ($19.99) is as uncanny as the X-Men, and the Wolverine Skull Pendant Necklace by mrd74 ($40.00) would be a slyly literal addition to any Wolverine paraphernalia.
Happy Turkey Day, Canadians!
Geek Inspired: Cubes of Q*bert

Inspired by Q*bert
I actually still have my old Atari 2600 in the garage, though I doubt it still works. One of the classic games in the old Atari arsenal was Q*bert, the platform game involving jumping between graphic cubes. The visuals were colorful and the geometric patterns have lived on to this day.
